Louren Léon is an artist born in Harderwijk who has been fascinated by the power of images and the interaction that this triggers in people from an early age. It is something that, like his whole life, holds his attention, often in an unexpected way, and does not let go. He does not shy away from seeking confrontation in order to provoke this interaction and associated emotions in people and to strengthen the image. Something that has not made him equally loved and understood everywhere. After many wanderings through the Netherlands during which these images kept circulating in his head and were enriched, he started to record this more and more. A creative outburst that continues to surprise.

It can be about everyday objects, a seemingly banal scene - whether or not created by Louren Léon himself - or a moment in the city that catches his eye. It evokes an emotion or thought that he wants to capture and investigate further. As an artist, he is constantly looking for ways to capture the world around him, to question it and to transform it into visual stories. In this, the city, with its dynamics and constant changes, is a constant source of inspiration for him. The energy of the streets, the colours, the graffiti and the hidden stories that take place there, trigger him to capture the essence of street art. For Louren Léon, street art is not only a visual expression, but a reflection of the zeitgeist, of social commentary, of freedom and rebellion. He tries to capture this raw energy, through the tensions between chaos and beauty, and through the message that is often hidden in what initially seems superficial. It is this layering that he wants to pass on in his work. Louren Léon wants to give everyone a piece of raw beauty from the street.

Louren Léon combines different materials and techniques in conjunction with daring and bright colours, which for him are a translation of the street. A build-up of layers is created. Contemporary art has already been seen in many shows and various galleries.​​​​​​
